A well fought, tense and spirited match. Both generation teams played well Mathew Cook put up a brave fight, Douglas Rae looked relaxed and confident in his victory.
The doubles was the turning point finished off by a good long blackby James Hill. Peter Eastland looked a player beyond his 11 years, in a well controlled victory. Gordon Rae played well but was finally beaten by a determind Glenn Hennessey. The match could have gone either way but Generation X's experience won out.
