The Losers came out on top when 1st met 2nd in Div 1. Mark Harvey made a great start for Windowcraft beating Leigh Carran 61-37, Paul Gilliard made it all square taking the second frame 64-32 against James Gregg.The doubles went to Windowcraft 65-21 before Jody Halpin again made it all square as he beat Terry Connell 59-31, the final and deciding frame could not have been closer Carl Hodges ( The Losers) had a break of 24 in his score of 41,beating Ray Harvey who had a break of 40 to lose by 1 point.
MKSC Windowcraft are clear in second place after making hard work of beating Five Steps 6-4.
They won the 1st frame through L Parkin 57-16 , then lost them 2nd
when T Ward beat J Gregg 60-20.
They sealed the win taking the next 2 frames with ease, before losing the last.
The Losers continued the push for promotion with an 8-2 win against MKSC Allsorts, M Weir won the 1st frame 66-44 thanks to a break of 27. L Carran easiliy won the next 55-20 they then won the doubles on the black 53-48 after P Gilliard made a 25 break, C Hodges made it 4 frames to nil with a 57-20 win.
N Underwood pulled 2 points back for Allsorts taking the last frame
68-9.
The 3rd single frame was awarded to the Five Steps team, because of coaching by the home teams referee during the frame. This decision was made by the committee at a meeting on the 7th April 2004.
