RBL A 8 v 2 SSCC A Result Card
S.S.C.C A drop to third place as they were beaten 8-2 by R.B.L.A, P Johnson took the first frame for RBL 65-56 despite giving away 20 points in fouls, I Spires won one back in the next winning 49-18 against L Axon RBL taking the last three frames for a good win.
MKSC Wanderers 6 v 4 Pury Potters Result Card
The bottom two teams fought out a good match at the square MKSC Wanderers taking the first three frames all very close, M Moors of the Wanderers with breaks of 39 &26 and J Ditum replying with a break of 36. Z Hale & T Curtis then took the last two frame with ease to make the final score 6-4 to the Wanderers.

Newport Blobbies 4 v 6 Wolverton Jokers Result Card
Wolverton Jokers came out on top against Newport Blobbies taking the match 6-4 winning three of he first four frames in a match that swung back and forth until K Pilkington sealed it with a 51-4 win in the fourth, R Lawton beat J Melvin 49-39 in the last frame.

Wolverton Bad Boys came away from the British Legion with an 8-2 win after losing the 1st frame, M Dodd beating A Sillince 65-26.

Third placed S.S.C.C. A with a game in hand moved closer to the Bad Boys who had a free week with a 6-4 win against Pury Potters losing the first two frames but winning the last three to seal the win and a welcome six points.

SSCC A 4 v 6 Wolverton Bad Boys Result Card
Wolverton Bad Boys remain six points clear at the top with a 6-4 win against S.S.C.C A, A Sillince took the first frame for the Bad Boys with a break of 34, Bad Boys also won the next two to go 6-0 up, SSCC A looked in danger of being whitewashed as W Cove built up an early lead with a break of 22, before A Williams took the frame with a 29 break. In the final frame Bad boys again took an early lead but A Yates took the last five colours to win the frame.

Newport Blobbies 4 v 6 RBL A Result Card
R.B.L travelled to Newport to take on second placed Blobbies and came away with a 6-4 win in a close match, P Johnson won the first frame for the Legion 65-25, A Jenkins made it 1-1 in the next P Johnson with a seasons best break of 57 partnered K Burness to doubles win 72-12. L Axon made sure of the win thanks to some excellent escapes from a number of difficult snooker's laid on by N Brennan in the middle of their game. Lee finally winning 65-30 Blobbies took the final frame when R Lawton won 49-14.

RBL A 4 v 6 MKSC Wanderers Result Card
MKSC Wanderers beat R.B.L A 6-4 in a good tight match R.B.L won the first & last frames with ease while the Wanderers pinched the middle three. T Swinden won his on the black the doubles was an easy win fully deserved & M Moors won his on a fluke black. Only four points separate the top team from the bottom in this very equal division.

MKSC Wanderers 2 v 8 Wolverton Bad Boys Result Card
Wolverton Bad Boys take over top spot as they beat MKSC Wanderers 8-2 after losing the first frame M Moors with a break of 56 beating John Ceasar 83-2. Two of the remaining frames were very close the doubles was won 49-41 and M Long beat Debbie Rowland 46-38.

MKSC Wanderers revival continued with their fourth win on the trot beating S.S.C.C. 6-4 T Butcher taking the last frame 57-26 against A Box to seal a win that takes them off the bottom for the first time all season.

Wolverton Bad Boys moved into second place thanks to a comfortable 8-2 win against the Wolverton Jokers. Jokers only winner being J Melvin with a 52-36 win against W Cove.

Newport Blobbies beat Pury Potters 6-4 in a match that swung back and forth D Jenkins winning the last frame and the match 62-38.

Newport Blobbies with two wins from three matches lead Prem B, they came out on top against Wolverton Jokers 6-4, D & A Jenkins winning the first two singles in very close frames and then N Brennan & A Jenkins taking the doubles. D Burbidge and B Jones winning the last two singles with ease.

Newport Blobbies remain in touch with the leaders as they beat bottom placed MKSC Wanderers 6-4 D Jenkins taking the first frame 46-3, Wanderers bounced back to take the next two frames and the lead before A Jenkins and N Brennan won the last two frames and the match.

S.S.C.C.A came out on top against the Pury Potters after losing the first two singles and requiring a snooker in the doubles with only one red left, I Spires & A Williams managed to achieve the snooker and won the doubles, R Pendlington & A Yates won their singles and the match was won 6-4.

Newport Blobbies move up to third place with an 8-2 win against S.S.C.C at team that appear to have lost a little of their early good form. A Williams won the first frame for the Con Club 45-42 and then they were never in it, Newport winning the remaining frames with ease the Jenkins brothers taking the doubles 57-33 and also their singles matches by over thirty point each.

R.B.L take over at the top as they beat Wolverton Jokers 8-2 in a match that was tighter than the score suggests R.B.L. winning with a mixture of good play and the run of the balls.
Pury Potters (D, D-) 8 v 2 (D+) Wolverton Bad Boys Result Card
Leaders Wolverton Bad Boys travelled to play Pury Potters who are down near the bottom of the league and were whitewashed 10-0 in what must be the shock result of the season so far. They were completely out played in every frame except one, in the third singles O Durran beat W Cove 31-23 which was the closest Bad Boys came to a win, after that confidence booster Potters may now start climbing the table.

Wolverton Jokers beat MKSC Wanderers 8-2 in a tight match, C Penn taking the 1st frame on the Black. K Pilkington came out on top in a low scoring frame beating T Swindon 39-16 Wanderers took the doubles 57-38 J Melvin & D Burbidge won the last two frames to seal the win.

MKSC Wanderers 4 v 6 RBL A Result Card
R.B.L moved to the top of Premier B with a hard fought 6-4 win against bottom placed MKSC Wanderers, losing the first and last frames both on the black. The first frame was a re-spotted black after M Dodds potted the last four colours to force a tied score, all in vain as M Moors eventually took the black and the frame for the Wanderers.

Pury Potters 2 v 8 Wolverton Jokers Result Card
Wolverton Jokers beat a three man Pury Potters 6-4 with D Burbidge taking MOM for a good win against J Dittum that included a break of 40 they also took the doubles on the black 42-39 and won the match claiming the last frame.
Newport Blobbies (D) 4 v 6 Wolverton Bad Boys Result Card
Wolverton Bad Boys travelled to Newport to play the Blobbies and won 6-4 to remain on top of the division, just in front of R.B.L who didn't play. Blobbies D Jenkins took the first frame 42-39 against A Sillince in a tight game. Bad Boys then took the next three fairly comfortably, before A Jenkins took the last one for the Blobbies.

S.S.C.C. surprisingly came unstuck against the Wolverton Jokers losing 6-4, I Spires and R Pendlington being their only winners, in a match they would have expected to win.

R.B.L.A drew level in second place with an 8-2 win against Pury Potters, K Burness winning the first frame on the black 50-45. Z Hale levelled the match coming from behind to win also on the black 52-40 R.B.L then took the last three frames to end a good close match.

Pury Potters have hit top form at the right time after losing last week to R.B L their first defeat in six matches they bounced back with an 8-2 win against Newport Blobbies to move above them in the table, A Jenkins winning 50-47 to avoid a whitewash.

The other Title contenders had a better night; Newport Blobbies beat Wolverton Jokers 8-2 only losing out in the doubles while Pury Potters beat S.S.C.C. A 6-4 thanks to a last frame win for T Curtis 66-20 which included a 30 break. Wolverton Bad Boys had a free week so have a game in hand.

MKSC Wanderers also down at the bottom had a good win beating Newport Blobbies 6-4 new signing E Wills taking the first frame 52 -25 against N Brennan, M Moors made it two nil as he beat A Jenkins 76-40, Blobbies took the doubles to pull a frame back but T Swinden sealed the win as he beat P Jenkins 62-26.

Wolverton Jokers are level on points with the Wanderers after they beat them 6-4 and they have a game in hand. It would seem to be any two from the bottom three for relegation, but in a close division you never know all the teams are capable of beating each other.

Newport Blobbies lost 6-4 to RBL A after a nail biting finish to the final frame P Johnson of RBL winning with a fluke on a re-spotted black after D Jenkins had fought back from requiring all the colours to level the score.

Newport Blobbies moved up to second place after they beat Wolverton Bad Boys 8-2 in a good team performance. S Bolton playing his first singles frame of the season beat A Sillince 48-30 to get them of to a great start, N Brennan took the next on the black to put them two up. They won the doubles with ease before R Lawton beat J Ceasar 58-13 to make it 8-0, M Long finally collected two points for the Bad Boys with a 63-14 win in the last frame.

Wolverton Jokers came out on top in a very close match against S.S.C.C.A, with the first four frames all being decided on the black ball. They finally won the match 6-4 to move up level on points with the Con Club in what is a very tight Division with all still to play for.

S.S.C.C A top the table as they beat MKSC Wanderers 10-0 in a match that was closer than the score suggests A Williams won the first 54-41, the doubles was won 47-35 and the final frame was won by A Yates 52-41 all three could have gone either way.

The form team at the moment is Pury Potters who continued their winning run with a 6-4 win against MKSC Wanderers their fifth win on the trot. M Moors took the first frame for the Wanderers 59-8 against Z Hale, J Dittum made it all square winning a close game 64-61, Wanderers won the doubles 72-40 before the Potters took the last two frames and the match.

R.B.L remain top despite being beaten 10-0 by second placed Wolverton Bad Boys, it was a performance to forget from the Legion losing two matches on the black ball after being in front in both. John Ceasar fought back from being twenty behind to take the first frame; A Sillince was just to good for young L Martin potting him off the table. M Long finished in brilliant style to beat P Johnson also on the black. With only six points separating the top four teams it will be a close finish for the title.

R.B.L remain top despite losing for the second week running, this week they lost 4-6 to the Wanderers. Again snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in two frames that were lost on the black. Credit should be given to the Wanderers players E Wills who hung in their when all seemed lost and finally won 53-42, while T Swinden fought back after P Johnson with a 33 break and an easy Blue on to seal the frame missed it and went in-off, final score 58-47 to Wanderers.
