Ampthill Specialists 6 v 4 Herald Hurricanes Result Card
J Mason from the Herald Hurricanes made a great start with a break of 55 against M Fleckney of second placed Ampthill Specialist, G Ring replied in the next frame with a 47 break as he beat E Wills to level the match. Specialists took the next two frames to seal the win, R Webb won the last frame to make the final score 6-4.

MKSC Hit 'n' Hopers 4 v 6 Ampthill Specialists Result Card
Ampthill Specialists remain third as they beat Hit 'n' Hopers 6-4, G Ring beat A Ridgway 63-53 in the first frame, K Caddick made it all square as he beat M Fleckney 38-32, the doubles went to the Specialists. C Nethersole played very well to overcome C Armstrong 66-42, R Wellington then sealed the match with a 70-48 win against R Beckley.

MKSC Knights shared first two frames against third placed Specialists M Fleckney beat P Doody in a tight first frame 57-38 J Monk then destroyed C Armstrong 59-8 in the second P Doody with a break of 45 partnered G Jones to a win in the doubles 74-40 Specialists came good in the end taking the last two frames to win 6-4.

MKSC Hit 'n' Hopers 6 v 4 MKSC Potters Result Card
Hit n Hopers managed that first elusive win in Premier A beating MKSC Potters 6-4. R Beckley took the first frame 74-28 against P Leach, D Tobin just scraped a win against D Miller 51-39 to put them two up they then lost the doubles in a close game 44-59 before A Ridgway sealed the match with a 76-20 win against G Stevens, in the final frame P O Rourke beat C Nethersole 30-29 in what would appear to have been a very cautious frame.

With only three games left for all the teams except Herald Hurricanes it looks as though the title is going to MKSC Matchroom. Ampthill Specialists reduced Wolverton Warriors chances beating them 6-4 with only three players. M Webb won the first frame for the Warriors 64-30, M Fleckney beat D Thody 67-32 he then partnered C Armstrong to a close win in the doubles 59-46. C Armstrong then beat A Ceasar 56-38 for a 6-2 lead but with R Wellington failing to appear Warriors claimed the final frame.

Herald Hurricanes gained their first win of the season as they beat the Hit' N' Hopers 6-4 winning the first three frames to make certain of victory, R Beckley & A Ridgway taking the last two for four points.

MKSC Knights beat bottom placed Potters 6-4 in a close match, two of Knights wins going down to the black.

MKSC Matchroom 6 v 4 Wolverton Warriors Result Card
MKSC Matchroom came out winners 6-4 as the top two teams met, D Thody took the first for the Warriors winning 81-55 against R Avis, J Anderson beat M Webb 54-41 to level the match then teamed up with R Avis to nick the doubles 51-50. A Ceasar beat T Greenough 97-31 to bring it all square again. T McGarry took the match for Matchroom with a 68-18 win, which included a break of 51.

MKSC Matchroom and Wolverton Warriors share top place in Premier A after the Warriors 8-2 win against Herald Hurricanes, J Mason of the Hurricanes gave them a great start beating D Thody 47-30 in the first frame. M Webb beat S Rumsey on the black in the next frame and the Warriors took all the rest with ease.

Ampthill Specialists beat bottom team MKSC Potters 8-2 only losing out in the doubles in a black ball finish. There seems to be a wide gap between teams that are promoted from Premier B and the top three teams in Premier A. whichever teams are promoted this season they will struggle in the top flight.

Reigning champions Wolverton Warriors made an impressive start beating newly promoted MKSC Knights 10-0, Captain A Ceasar starting the season with a break of 46 looking sharp.
MKSC Hit 'n' Hopers 2 v 8 MKSC Matchroom Result Card
MKSC Matchroom remain top as they won 8-2. The performance of the night has to be T Harewell beating T McGarry 60-44 in the first frame to give Hit N Hopers a great start. D Bell levelled the score as he beat K Caddick on the black, Matchroom then took control winning the last three frames with ease with J Anderson recording a break of 37 in his 67- 16 win.

Herald Hurricanes proved to strong for the Potters winning 10-0. P Leach and D Miller were unlucky for the Potters both losing on the black ball in close matches. A Trott with a break of 28 came from behind to beat P Leach both players winning the MOM for their teams.

MKSC Matchroom moved to the top of Premier A after their 10-0 win against newly promoted MKSC Knights, Matchroom were just to strong for a Knights team still trying to adjust to the higher level. J Monk came closest only losing by 14 points to T McGarry who recorded a break of 32 on the night.

Ampthill Specialists came away with a 6-4 win against Wolverton Warriors in a close fought match. Specialist taking the first two frames and the Warriors reducing the arrears in the doubles, Glenn Ring sealed the win beating D Thody 61-19.

Herald Hurricanes pulled clear of the bottom three teams as they beat Hit' N' Hopers 8-2 in a comfortable win; only losing the last frame of the match.

MKSC Matchroom completed the Premier A fixtures with an 8-2 win against Herald Hurricanes, R Webb of the Hurricanes taking the 1st frame of the match 58-9 against J Anderson.

Ampthill Specialists 8 v 2 Herald Hurricanes Result Card
Ampthill Specialists recorded an 8-2 win against the Herald Hurricanes after losing the first frame A Trott with a 29 break beating G Ring 63-56. Specialists then produced some very good snooker to take the remaining frames, breaks of 39 & 44 from R Hammer led to wins in both the doubles with G Ring & his singles. M Fleckney then had breaks of 40 & 31 as he beat the in form R Webb 89-16. Captain C Armstrong completed a good night with an 82-23 win in the final frame.
Wolverton Warriors (D) 2 v 8 MKSC Matchroom Result Card
Leaders MKSC Matchroom played second placed Wolverton Warriors and proved to strong for last season's champions. The Warriors couldn't cope with the break building of the Matchroom, T Greenough beat D Thody in the first frame 76-37 with a break of 33, J Anderson took the second 83-0with highest break of the season so far of 83. T Greenough & J Anderson won the doubles 70-40 to take a winning three-frame lead. In the fourth frame T McGarry played A Ceasar he started with a break of 37 after a period of safety play Tim got in again and cleared up with a break of 84 to take the frame. In the last frame A Newman playing his first game of the season for the Warriors, even though he is present at every game beat S White to make the final score 8-2 to the Matchroom.

Leaders MKSC Matchroom played host to bottom team MKSC Potters and true to form beat them 10-0, the MOM for the Potters was the son of the captain 15year old J Leach even though he lost he put up a good performance.

Wolverton Warriors kept up the pressure in second place as they also won 8-2 running out comfortable winners against Hit n Hopers, K Caddick scoring for the losers 62-56 against S Turney. A Ceasar built a nice break of 55 to equal the seasons best in Premier A so far.

In the other match in Premier A Herald Hurricanes beat MKSC Knights 6-4 R Webb for the Hurricanes had a break of 67 as he beat G Coats 75-16, J Mason also of the Hurricanes won the first frame with a break of 46 beating G Jones 74-23.

MKSC Matchroom continued their impressive 100% run with an 8-2 win against MKSC Knights J Anderson led the way with a break of 40 taking the first frame against G Coats, T McGarry beat J Monk in the second frame 54-19, McGarry & Anderson then won the doubles to seal the win. P Doody of the Knights just came out on top against T Greenough 58-54 to pull a frame back, and then S White beat S Woolford to end the match.

Ampthill Specialists closed the gap on second placed Wolverton Warriors beating them 6-4 in a close match, Specialists went two frames ahead through G Ring and M Fleckney, Wolverton Warriors then took the doubles 75-8 D Thody levelled the match beating C Armstrong 83-49. In the last & deciding frame R Wellington came out on top beating A Ceasar 50-40 in a very tight frame.

Hit'n'Hopers continue with their revival, after last weeks 10-0 whitewash over the Potters they entertained the Knights who were full of confidence fresh from their good win last week against the Specialists, and with a great display of potting they completely outplayed them winning 8-2 to move above them in the table out of the relegation area.

MKSC Matchroom looked to be coasting to an easy win against MKSC Hit 'n' Hopers when they won the first three frames with ease, then A Ridgway beat J Anderson on the black, and in the final frame R Beckley with a break of 42 beat S White 72-22 to make the final score 6-4. Matchroom also played their outstanding fixture against MKSC Knights in mid week and again won 6-4.

MKSC Hit 'n' Hopers (D) 2 v 8 Wolverton Warriors Result Card
D Thody of the Wolverton Warriors was the star of the week with a magnificent break of 100 in the doubles match against Hit 'n' Hopers, K Caddick broke off with a fairly safe shot D Thody potted a long red to start the break and it finished a century later with one red left, M Webb and C Nethersole didn't even get a shot. Warriors finally won 8-2 R Beckley was the only winner for the Hit n Hopers beating M Webb 55-23.

Herald Hurricanes beat the Knights 6-4 to just remain above them in the league table winning the first three frames to seal the victory. J Monk and P Doody taking the last two frames with ease to keep the score respectable.
Ampthill Specialists 4 v 6 MKSC Matchroom Result Card
Leaders MKSC Matchroom travelled to Ampthill to play the Specialists who were keen to put last week's 8-2 defeat by the Knights behind them. T McGarry won the first frame for the Matchroom 69-31 against G Ring. Specialists came back strong with M Fleckney beating J Anderson 64-29, G Ring & C Armstrong then took the doubles in a tight game 69-62 to go in front. T Greenough beat C Armstrong 70-26 to level the match so it was all on the final frame. R Wellington for the Specialists against R Avis after a lot of safety play it was R avis who came out on top winning 50-39 to give the Matchroom the win 6-4.
