Hello,

Thank you for entering the MKCSL Handicap Singles Round Robin Tournament. We have had 53 entries, so this is guideline to the rules and what you can expect throughout the season.

1. There will be 8 groups of 6 players and 1 group of 5 players
2. Each player will play each other in their groups, once at home, and once away.
3. Each match will be the best of 3 frames.
4. Each match will be arranged by players to be played at their convenience. If either player cannot play before the play-by-date then the games left to be played are VOID (Scores 0)
5. In the event of a tie in the group, I would like all the frame scores, so aggregate points apply. The person with the most points will go through to the next round. If I do not receive the frame scores, then they will be counted as zero (0).
6. All games must be played before the play-by-date at the bottom of the draw sheet.
7. When all games in each group are played the top 3 players will go forward into the next round (A Knockout) and the bottom 3 will go into the plate competition (A Knockout). Except in the group of 5, when the top 3 go through to the next round and the bottom 2 into the plate.
8. Each player's captain will be sent a draw sheet, which will have all the drawn groups on it. You may also see the groups on the notice boards at the MKSC and THE HERALD, or on the MKCSL web site. These will stay on the boards until the play-by-date has been reached.
9. Each week I will put up on the notice boards, a run down on how the groups are going. Showing scores, points and high breaks.
10. You will have approximately 3 ½ months (105 days) to play your 10 games.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

Tony Swinden (Tournament Secretary)
